Itinerary Details

Day 1: Bologna > Cattolica

◉ Welcome in Bologna and Arrival in Cattolica.
◉ Our group will meet at Bologna airport at 3:00 PM, where a comfortable transfer awaits us to take us to the charming city of Cattolica.
◉ 6:30 PM: Briefing and bike delivery.
◉ Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: San Marino

◉ Adventure to San Marino.
◉ Route of about 100km with significant elevation gain.
◉ Van support available.
◉ Free afternoon and dinner in Cattolica.

Day 3: San Clemente

◉ Cycling and Gastronomy in San Clemente.
◉ 90km and 1,200m elevation.
◉ Visit to Enio Ottaviani Winery for wine tasting and lunch.
◉ Free dinner in Cattolica.

Day 4: Fano

◉ Following the Giro d’Italia to Fano.
◉ We will pedal through Castles, Gradara, and Via Panoramica to watch the finish of the Giro d’Italia stage.
◉ 80km with 1,200m elevation.
◉ Free dinner.

Day 5: Riccione

◉ Start of the Giro d’Italia in Riccione.
◉ We will experience the thrill of the stage start.
◉ Transfer to Hotel Ca’ Virginia in Borgo Massano, with a stop for cheese tasting in Mondaino.
◉ 60km with 900m elevation.
◉ Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Carpegna

◉ Challenge of Choice.
◉ Options: Carpegna Cippo (110km, 1,500m), Double Carpegna (120km, 2,000m), Petrano, or Catria.
◉ Marco Pantani's challenge awaits us.
◉ Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: Gola del Furlo

◉ Gola del Furlo and the Truffle Treasure.
◉ Ride through the spectacular Furlo canyon and truffle tasting.
◉ Farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Departure

Non-cyclists can follow the group in the support van (max capacity 8 people) and participate in all sightseeing and gastronomic activities.

Can we see the pro cyclists?

Yes! The program includes watching a stage finish in Fano and a start in Riccione, experiencing the Giro atmosphere up close.

Are bikes included?

No, rental is separate. We have options like Cannondale SuperSix Evo and Orbea Orca available upon request.

How difficult are the rides?

This is a demanding tour, with distances up to 120km and considerable elevation gain (up to 2,000m), including famous climbs like Cippo di Carpegna.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, we strongly advise purchasing Travel Insurance covering medical, luggage, and cancellation.
