Day 1: Lecce

◉ Arrival at the hotel in Lecce and check-in.
◉ Briefing and bike delivery.

Day 2: Lecce > Gallipoli

◉ The route is flat with plenty of rural landscape, characterized by olive trees and dry stone walls (muretto a secco).
◉ Arrival in Gallipoli, the 'Beautiful City'.
◉ Free dinner.

Day 3: Gallipoli > Leuca

◉ Today we will pedal along the Ionian Sea until we reach the 'End of the Earth'.
◉ Santa Maria di Leuca is where the two seas (Adriatic and Ionian) meet.
◉ Free dinner.

Day 4: Leuca > Otranto

◉ Going up the Adriatic coast, one of the most beautiful roads in Italy.
◉ Mandatory stop at Ponte Ciolo and Zinzulusa Cave.
◉ Arrival in Otranto.
◉ Free dinner.

Day 5: Otranto surroundings

◉ Day dedicated to exploring the surroundings of Otranto, its Alimini lakes and beaches.
◉ Free dinner.

Day 6: Otranto > Lecce

◉ Return to the capital of Baroque, Lecce.
◉ Passage through the Cesine nature reserve.

What does Self Guided mean?

It means you won't have a physical guide cycling with you. You navigate autonomously using GPS routes provided by us, at your own pace and freedom.

How do I carry my bags?

You don't! Our team transports your luggage from one hotel to another. You cycle only with the essentials for the day.

What if I have a mechanical problem?

We provide a basic repair kit. For major problems, you have our 24h phone assistance and we can send support if necessary.

What types of bikes can I choose?

The package includes rental of Road Bike, Trekking Bike, or E-Bike (electric), depending on your preference and riding style.

Do I need to be a navigation expert?

No, we provide accurate GPX files that you can follow on your bike computer or smartphone. The routes are tested and easy to follow.

What is included in the meals?

All breakfasts are included, plus 2 dinners (welcome and farewell). The other dinners are free for you to explore local gastronomy.
